Having lived on the island of Mauritius since 1987, Dagmar Popp has experienced numerous cyclones blazing through or past the island, all of different intensities and severities. In Cyclone, Dagmar Popp depicts the swirl of a tropical cyclone in bright and vivid colours. Cyclones bring about total chaos and destruction, oftentimes of very severe intensity. Yet, all cyclones or storms generally speaking are great transformers of energies; what is obsolete and needs to be destroyed will be. This might result in havoc, sadness and sorrow, but then again it leads to new beginnings and creations. Even in the most harsh and difficult or circumstances, there is always light and renewal to be witnessed and experienced.

We must be reminded that times are changing. New discoveries are being made at a much accelerated rate, and on a much more increasing basis. The universe is opening up to all of humanity, and as such, is delivering many of its ancient secrets and mysteries to the human kind. Above the little town depicted in Universal Force, a time space seems to be opened. The symbol of the universal power of healing and life is being brought to planet Earth. Who is the messenger and bringer of this event? Is it a dove or some sort of being? What does the observer see in the this painting. The opening depicted in Universal Force brings an image and sense of universal joy.

Fu, in Chinese culture, represents a symbol for good luck, good fortunes and protection from dark and unwanted forces. It is commonly seen, referenced and depicted in Feng-Shui methodologies. Fu is very much sought after as from the year 2019, as there are numerous strong and powerful unwanted forces in and around homes. Dagmar Popp got inspired to produce Fu-Good Luck Arrives by one of the friends of Chinese descent. In this painting, the strong hold of the Fu symbol is placed at the very outer edge of a vortex of golden and silver rays. This symbol assists in bringing about prosperity to households, if placed in the right location.
